BREEZE Provisioning Center, Oakland County’s first recreational marijuana retailer, opened its doors Sunday morning in Hazel Park.
“We called it BREEZE for a number of reasons, but mainly because we wanted to make the buying experience quick and easy from the novice to the pros…”
Located at 24517 John R. between Woodward Heights and Ten Mile Road, BREEZE can sell to anyone 21 or older with an ID, no medical card needed. The company said in a social media post that it can only take cash but that an ATM is onsite.
BREEZE officially hosted its grand opening on February 11, but only sold to medical marijuana patients at the time.
Sunday was the first day selling recreational products with names like French Cookie, Lemon Meringue and Crystal Gelato, and edibles like fudge and gummie candies.
Cannabis-infused edibles such as Barracuda chocolate bars, brownies and rice crispy treats and Live Resin Carts will also be available.
BREEZE announced plans to open more locations in Warren and Emmett Township, among others.
