BATTLE CREEK, Michigan, September 22, 2021

Trucenta, a vertically integrated Michigan cannabis company, celebrates its entrance to west Michigan with the grand opening of its second BREEZE Recreation Cannabis retail location, serving 21+  customers of the greater Battle Creek community. The new store, located at 1770 E Columbia Ave, sits directly next to their 30 acre outdoor cannabis farm.

“We started by hiring locally. The majority of our staff is from Emmett Township, giving us a connection to the community that only someone who calls it home can give. That allowed us to directly support actual residents of our township” said Megan Kucks , General Manager for the new location..

As winners of the 2020 Best of the Best Detroit Free Press for both recreational cannabis dispensary and CBD store, BREEZE leads the industry in cannabis retail, providing a smooth, seamless online ordering and curbside pick up experience for cannabis users in Michigan and beyond.

Trucenta’s mission includes giving back to local communities through team sponsorships, community cleanups and charitable donations. Their team recently cleaned up local park attractions, including Historic Bridge Park, Horseshoe Bend Park, Battle Creek River Walk, Bailey Park, Post Park, and the Ott Biological Preserve. They will continue to clean up every park in Emmett Charter Township and surrounding areas.

The grand opening festivities will kick off on Thursday, Sept. 23 at noon and will continue through Sunday, Sept. 26.

The ribbon cutting will take place at noon on Thursday, Sept. 23 with the BREEZE leadership team, community leaders, and city officials.

On Saturday, Sept. 25, guests can enjoy festivities in the parking lot, including free BREEZE swag bags to the first 100 guests, vendor pop-ups, food trucks, and FREE cannabis farm tours. BREEZE is also offering a 25% discount on all regular-priced items Friday, September 24 – 26.

Store hours are 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily.

Adult-use customers must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid government-issued ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or state identification card in order to shop.
