Sugar House, based out of Kalamazoo, is a company focusing on quality and elevated
experiences. Founder, Melissa Al-Azzawi, is an industry veteran, who has been working in the
marketing and sales sector until adding this new venture. The current Sugar House product line
consists of disposable vape pens, 510 cartridges, and pre-rolls. The cartridges are very high
end, utilizing live resin grown and processed from their unique 1:1 Equanimity flower. The live
resin captured is full spectrum, containing all of the wonderful terpenes and cannabinoids
needed to produce the entourage effect. This effect leads to a more well rounded and balanced
sensation, where the most healing can occur.

With years of experience learning to understand the likes and needs of the cannabis market, it’s

their 1:1 cartridge that consists of unique live resin (made from 1:1 flower) and additional CBD
distillate to bring up the CBD concentration. The word equanimity means, “mental calmness,
composure, and evenness of temper, especially in a difficult situation.” This blend does exactly
that: smooth, calming, and potent enough to take the edge off. The other option for consumers
looking for a little higher THC would be the Elevate line. This line consists of the unique live
resin (made from 1:1 flower) and reintroduced, cannabis-derived terpenes. Although THC is the
dominant cannabinoid, the roughly 10% CBD concentration, along with other minor
cannabinoids and cannabis terpenes, help to create that smooth elevated high without feeling
